We believe that education, mutual learning and sharing of knowledge inspire people in hope of better tomorrow. We dream of a world where there are no limits, division and persecution of people from their homes, a world in which people can freely and safely move – a world in which everyone has the right to hospitality.
The mission of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is to accompany, serve and advocate the rights of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons. As an international Catholic organization founded by the Society of Jesus, it was created and it operates on the basis of Ignatian spirituality. JRS is guided by the example of Jesus, his compassion and love toward the poor and rejected.
